Synchronis’ submission to an international design competition to develop a prototype tiny house to portably house a couple of “digital nomads.” The concept addresses the opportunity to site such a house on lesser used shopping center parking lots and other commercial lots that have fallen victim to online shopping. The mechanized legs allow easy adjustment to varied terrain of all types, including rural environments. Active motion control applied to the mechanized legs could also conceivably used for self-stabilization during earthquakes.
