Year: 2004
Client: Church of Our Saviour Episcopal Church, San Gabriel
Project Description
This project for the Church of Our Saviour offers a dynamic and appropriate setting for children and their families within a highly sensitive, centuries old
Historic context. Grace Chapel, Cleaver Hall and an adjacent cloister have provided a new focus for the growing Child’s Garden School and a programmatic hinge between church and school. The re-configuration of the campus through refurbishment of existing buildings and creation of new facilities around a shared patio has allowed the intensification of community use and has played a significant role in the successful location of the headquarters of the Center for Godly Play on this campus. This project was designed and executed by John Dale AIA, Architect in association with Aleks Istanbullu AIA, Architects. (Executive Architects).
