Project Description
Synchronis was invited to participate in an international design competition to propose concepts for off-the-grid factory-built tiny houses to be sited in an Indonesian island beach resort. The concept uses the prevailing sea breeze to both create an active ventilation inside the units as well as to store wind-powered electricity. Local craftsmen were proposed to construct the composite bamboo structural frames and provide the Batik fabric used for the exterior wall infill panels.
