Synchronis was invited to participate in an international design competition to propose concepts for off-the-grid factory-built tiny houses to be sited in an Indonesian island beach resort. The concept uses the prevailing sea breeze to both create an active ventilation inside the units as well as to store wind-powered electricity. Local craftsmen were proposed to construct the composite bamboo structural frames and provide the Batik fabric used for the exterior wall infill panels.
We bring decades of experience from the big, brand name architecture firms and understand their pros and cons. We avoid splashy salesmanship, preferring to focus on executing the work well and getting excellent client referrals. We produce top-end, innovative design and bring a passion for craftsmanship and fine architectural details. We have carefully structured Synchronis to run on a flat, efficient operational structure, allowing us to convert fee dollars into bespoke, personal attention and the extra time needed to produce high-quality construction documents with fewer holes and defects.
